This weekend in Texas took place the last edition of the Penny Arcade Expo: PAX South 2016. Studios from Latin America attended and got to show their games to the massive audience.

Mexican Game Starter -a video game incubator that provides counseling and financial support- was there taking part of PAX Rising, an entire space dedicated to the rise of the independent game developers. “First day of PAX South was awesome. Visitors showed up eager to play and talk about Games Starter games.” says Jesus Fabre from Mexican incubator Game Starter. “It was quite a familiar, much more natural feeling, hard to find in other previous big events I’ve attended, like gamescom, where publishers have a stronger presence. I recommend you to visit this one next year if you can.”

Argentinean game OKHLOS and a bunch of ANGRY GREEKS were also at Texas with the fine folks from Devolver Digital.
