On February 13, Story Studio is kicking off a series of VR filmmaking workshops with New York University and the University of Southern California, followed by masterclasses in April.
Oculus Story Studio will be filling us in with more details soon, including an an ever-growing library of new technical assets, video tutorials from Oculus and other leading VR studios, as well as details on how to register for the upcoming workshops. We can’t wait!
Oculus Story Studio was also joined by special guest, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who shared more details about his passion for VR and filmmaking on stage (VIDEO HERE). Additionally Saschka Unseld took the stage tonight and showed off a demo of Quill, which is similar to Tilt Brush, a 3D drawing experience that offers a range of different brushstrokes and effects. Quill is an internal tool for story creation with no plans for wider release. You can watch Unseld’s demo we recorded HERE.
